Tumblrist（Tumblrユーザー）には大きく分けて2種類の人間がおりまして、1つはTumblr以外からネタ探しをしてTumblrに放流していく人間、もう1つはネタを流す人間を見つけてそれをReblogしていく人間。

* Updater … ネタをTumblr外からTumblrに放流する人間
* Rebloger … Tumblr内のネタをTumblr内に拡散していく人間


仮に前者をUpdater、後者をReblogerと呼ぶと大体、10人いて2人くらいがUpdater、残り8人くらいがReblogerな感じ。どちらが良いとか悪いとかそういうことではなく（殆どのユーザがその両方の役を担ってはいるし）、前者が「サイト」を探しているとすると、後者は上質なネタを提供する「人」を探してるっていうことですよね。その両方が上手く回ることでTumblr内に新鮮なネタが世界各地からもたらされ、良い空気を醸し出しているのだと思います。
